Prepare for one of the most exciting adventures of your life. We will travel from Paracas to the spectacular Huacachina Oasis in Ica. There, we will board our sand buggies ("dune buggies"), high-power off-road vehicles designed with reinforced steel frames and aviation-grade multi-point seatbelts for maximum safety.
You will feel the pure adrenaline rush as our professional drivers speed up and down massive fine sand dunes that reach heights of 100 meters. We will make strategic stops at the top of the dunes for a guided sandboarding session, sliding down on boards specially adapted for the sand. No prior experience is required; our guide will teach you the proper technique to slide down safely while sitting, lying down, or standing up.
We will end the excursion watching the sunset in the desert. The warm evening light paints the dunes in shades of orange and red, creating a magical and unforgettable atmosphere, perfect for capturing spectacular photographs before our return.
Detailed Itinerary
Step 1: Transfer from Paracas to Ica (02:30 PM)
Departure point and private or semi-private transfer in a tourist vehicle to the Huacachina Oasis (Ica), passing through the Ica countryside.
Step 2: Boarding the Dune Buggy (04:00 PM)
Safety instructions from the driver. Boarding the buggy and checking seatbelts before entering the desert dunes area.
Step 3: Desert Rollercoaster and Sandboarding (04:30 PM)
Pure adrenaline riding high-altitude dunes. Stops for sliding on sandboards and a photo session in the desert.
Step 4: Sunset in the Dunes and Return (05:30 PM)
Relax and watch one of the most beautiful sunsets in the world over the dunes. Final descent to the oasis and ground return to Paracas.
