Ballestas Islands + Blancas Islands
Spectacular marine fauna across two islands
Experience Summary
This boat tour expands on the classic Ballestas Islands experience by adding the lesser-known but equally stunning Blancas Islands. The result is a more complete and exclusive tour of the richest marine biodiversity in the South American Pacific.
Sail in a modern fiberglass boat from the El Chaco pier. Along the way, you will view the mysterious Candelabra geoglyph on the sand of the peninsula. Then you will circle the Ballestas Islands with their colonies of sea lions and Humboldt penguins, before continuing to the Blancas Islands, where guano birds nest in large numbers.
