Paracas National Reserve
Experience Summary
Join us to explore the majesty of the Paracas National Reserve, one of the oldest and most stunning protected natural areas in Peru. On this private or semi-private land tour, we will venture into the desert where giant golden dunes meet the cliffs of the Pacific Ocean in a spectacular way.
Our first stop will be at the Reserve's Interpretation Center, a cultural and scientific space where you will understand the biological and paleontological importance of the region. Later, we will visit panoramic viewpoints to observe rock formations sculpted by the sea and the strong "Paracas" winds.
The highlight of the route is the world-famous "Red Beach". This surreal landscape stands out for its shoreline of reddish volcanic sand, caused by the erosion of nearby pink granite hills. We will also visit Yumaque Beach and Lagunillas Beach, a cozy artisanal fishing port where you can indulge in the best Peruvian seafood on the shores of the Pacific.
